Test and identify dry cows with gram-positive pathogens with easy-to-read, color-coded results. Results in 16 hours. Detects Streptococcus spp., Lactococcus spp. and Enterococcus spp., and Staphylococcus aureus, chromogenes and haemolyticus, and other coagulase-negative Staphylocci. Each package contains 4 quad-plates that can test 4 different samples.

Directions: Obtain a sample from the affected quarter. Streak milk onto the plate and incubate for 16 hours. Identify and treat only cows/quarters that currently have or are at risk for infections. For everything needed to get started, recommended to buy gloves, cotton swabs and sample vials (sold separately).
